In Tulsa, OK, one of our most active Team Huck members has stepped up to the plate to run for School Board of Union Public Schools.

This is a very important election and we have had over 19 inches of snow in 4 days, with more to come. The Election Board has moved all polling stations onto the school campus, which will likely have the effect of fewer voters not wanting to make the extra drive to an unfamiliar voting location and more teachers (Union Members) voting, as the polling location will conveniently be right on campus.

This particular school board has only seen 2 "No" votes in the last year. She intends to make sure that the rubber-stamping is halted.

Also, she wants to make sure that creationism is given equal time in the curriculum. Currently evolution is being taught as fact instead of theory.

She still has children in the school system and her opponent (the incumbent) does not.

She has helped us make phone calls all over the nation, including Bob McDonnell in Virginia. She has waved Huckabee signs out in the streets of Tulsa. And, she has been our Oklahoma Team Huck Pro-Life Leader and Facebook Administrator.
