LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is speaking in his home state less than a month after opting against another run for the Republican presidential nomination.
Huckabee planned to speak Wednesday at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service in downtown Little Rock. He planned to speak about his latest book, "A Simple Government: Twelve Things We Really Need From Washington (and a Trillion We Don't!)"
Huckabee, who served 10 ½ years as governor, won the Iowa caucuses in his unsuccessful bid for the GOP nomination in 2008. Last month, he announced that he would not seek the Republican nomination in 2012.
Huckabee hosts a weekly talk show on Fox News Channel and a nationally syndicated radio program. Last year, he moved his voter registration and residency to Florida.
