Along with community members, celebrities and approximately 3,000 volunteers, Eliot will help build houses in the Chiang Mai province in northern Thailand. She will be a part of a Women Build crew, a program specifically geared toward teaching construction skills to female volunteers, which will build five homes in the area. The crew also includes Janet Huckabee, wife of Republican politician and television personality Mike Huckabee; CARE co-founder Beth Kuenstler; Rev. Shannon Ledbetter, head of Liverpool Habitat for Humanity; and Lisa Marie Nickerson, Associate Director of Women Build/Habitat for Humanity International.
