Huckabee spoke today in Omaha, Nebraska and it was powerful. It is great to have Huckabee back in campaign mode, fighting for for the freedom of the American people. Watch for yourself:

Is It Too Early or Too Late,
What I am talking about is impeachment. I think we have all of the definition of impeach covered, when it comes to the forming and passing of this so-called Health Care Bill.
1.To challenge or discredit a persons honor, reputation, etc.
2.To challenge the practices or honesty of; to bring a public official before the proper tribunal on a charge of wrong doing.
For Mr. Reid to be allowed to put this bill together behind closed doors, not allowing Republicans to participate in the process is incogitable. Mr. Obama promised transparency and bipartisanship in government.
Mr. Obama also promised change. Well, we got change all right; we have gone from a democracy to a socialist government or worse.
I am sure we are in the world eye. People are sitting back and saying, maybe they are not the good guys anymore. Others are saying, they are weak and confused, now is the time. It is the now is the time that bothers me.
2010 is a start at taking back the nation, but can we wait till 2012? I can not imagine the damage that will be done if we wait that long.
Of course this bill is bad and Ben Nelson should be kicked out of office and made a state discrace. One must ask though why the Republicans do not vocalice their bill? It would be simple. Make a law that if you get critically ill ,with a disease like cancer, and loose your job because you are sick, and them loose Cobra because you are still alive, then you have to bankrupt your family before Medicaid kicks in. Is this not why we get insurance. Patients that work and get sick should have a clause that the insurance companies can not exclude them. This could happen to any of us. Thats the purpose of insurance. Secondly everyone should have to buy health insurance just like car insurance. You cant just buy insurance as you age and have more chance of becoming sick. Thirdly all insurance companies should compete country wide. Why protect them instead of the American people? This would drive down the cost of insurance. And guess what this would not increase the defict, which is the most pressing problem of our country. But whom am I? Just a physician who has practiced for 25 years and seen it all. Too bad neither the Democrats, nor the Republicans, nor the Tea partier listen. They just want your donation. You cant even talk to them, they make themselves elusive. I am really mad at all of them and pray to God we kick them all out in November.
My heart is breaking over what our government is doing to people. The heavy blanket of politicized decisions that weighs down the educational potential of our nation’s children is tragic. The heavy blanket of politicized decisions that will now be a part of the health care that people receive or do not receive effects the physical and financial health of 300 million Americans.
Many of us in the middle and upper classes have the means to compensate for bad government policies. The disadvantaged among us have no such resources to cushion the effects of bad government and are hurt very badly even as it is being heralded in the newspapers about how much they are being “helped”.
How can we be judged guiltless if we continue to elect people who act so coldly and irresponsibly?

Thanks to Pete Ricketts for helping bring Mike Huckabee to Omaha. The President, his lackeys, the Emanuel brothers, George Soros, Pelosi, Reid etc. are not Americans. Who exactly are they? Socialists / Marxists leaning politicians. They have forfeited their opportunity to represent Americans because they refuse to listen. Obama is not truthful and one wonders if he prefers being seen as some sort of “Global Celebrity” instead of our President. The health bill is in fact the “Stealth Bill.” No one has read it and no one can yet explain it including this very verbal president. “Something” must be hastily passed so they can pretend they are successful. Mike is correct, “we will not forget.”
I had more faith in the voters of Nebraska….and with this kind of Nebraska representation, no wonder we are in the mess we are in in Washington. Maybe the ‘huskers should just stick to watching college football….is probably easier than voting for a Senator.
Health Care Reform could have been done without a government take-over. The only problem is the politicians think they have all the answers. Thats what happens when a bunch of narcissistic fools take power. I have seen many good ideas posted by regular citiznes on several forums. Here is my take on it.
First, the eligible uninsured/uncovered (ie legal citizens who cant afford insurance) do not need health insurance. They need access to low cost or free health care until they can afford health insurance. Not all these people get sick at the same time so the system is not going to be overwhelmed. This access could be funded by a combination of local, state and federal taxes along with donations of money and time by individuals and organizations. We have a few facilities in my area. With some funding we could have more.
People with pre-existing illness would still be able get care under this scenario.
Also, tort reform is needed. Insurance companies should be able to complete across state lines and insurance that has been purchased should be portable.
Lastly, abortions should never be funded by tax money. It make taxpayers complicit in the act. Taxpayers are not responsible for the sexual acts that lead to abortion so they should not have to pay for someone elses decision. If people want to fund abortion by donation let them do it with their money, not mine.
I am not trying to say this would be cheap but it would be a whole lot less expensive that what is being proposed and it would not result in a government take-over. The point is that the government we put in power should not assume that they know whats best for us. When that happens they are the masters and we are the servants.
